About
Western Landscaping Kingston
 |
As a young entrepreneur from
Westland in the Western part of the Netherlands, Jan van den
Engel began his career as an enthusiastic horticulturist in
the green houses.
Immigrating to Canada in the 1950's, Jan begun a part time
career in the landscaping business which later led on to what
is now known as Western Landscaping Kingston (founded by Jan
and Trudy van den Engel in 1975).
With more than just a handful of customers, Jan and Trudy
saw the need to expand their operations; so they relocated
to Elginburg, Ontario a prime location promising something
greater. By 1990, the partnership led to a limited company,
van den Engel and son ltd operating as Western Landscaping
Kingston. |
Today, Western Landscaping Kingston operates with a seasonal qualified
crew of 12 (during peak season), carrying out design/build landscape
construction projects backed by a strong maintenance department.
We, at Western
Landscaping Kingston, are proud to be a family oriented business
with a history of growth and success.
